Finally back from a long looooooooooooong hiatus. Still on a Street Fighter kick but putting that aside, I'm doing something personal now.
Shade's taking some time out to have a bit of snackage at night, re-reading inserts in her diary. The crystal she's using actually acts as a decoder + a special spectrum of light that causes hidden text to appear in the book. While she has her main entries, she has sub entries written in the margins and between the text of the normal stuff. New take on "reading between the lines" sort of thing, only literal.
The sky is the way it is because I wanted there to be a layer of water between them. But getting that to look right just confuses me the heck out. If it were closer to the ground I could have some refraction of the light but since it's high up, idk. Any ideas or help with that concept being more thought out would be appreciated. Also let me know how the colors look for you. On my screen it looks plenty dark but not so much that you can't see it. Might come out darker or lighter on other screens.
I'm also working on the Shadow Comic some more but I might need to retcon the last page, hahaha. Give me a break, I'm getting used to everything and new ideas keep coming.
Awesome sauce with a side of epic noodles.... el-oh-freeking-el, hahahahaha I have never heard that one before. Thank you for broadening my internet speak. The Jacket was fun. The whole thing was fun. I'm happy with this drawing on the deepest level.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
