Sorry about being so afk everyone. I'm lazy and I have no excuse. I have been working on drawings and mostly working on a colored version of one of my drawings. I'm on the background it it's boring for me to sit there and work on it. But it's almost done and looks good (to me at least, I'm sure there's more touches I should add but I'm not aware of yet). I hope to submit it by this Wednesday.

I really need to get back into drawing. I've been playing alot of Street Fighter IV for some reason. I mean, I'm gaining nothing at this point with the game. At least not online. The only thing I enjoy about it is out thinking my opponent online and getting off bread and butter combos. Also I'm trying to go for big, risky moves that, if done correctly, would be epically flashy and grant me loads of bragging rights. But truth to tell, I can barely pull them off in training mode because of how strict the timing is, so online is almost no chance of actually pulling the move off. The best I can do is doing a jump in bb combo and cancel that into a super. If I could super into an ultra, that would be amazing, but again, strict timing doesn't allow much leeway with it.

I am drawing a bit here and there but not as much as I really should be doing. Still working on the comic and stuff. I've finished another issue already but I'm sitting on it till it's posted up with the mag (don't get me started on that part) but eh, we'll see how it goes. Depending on how long it takes, I might just have to move on and work on more things that I should probably do. Again, only time will tell about this stuff.

Internet in my room is still a sparse and seldom seen creature. Maychance spotted on a blue moon and then swiftly gone because my computer needs a restart after it installed it's mandatory update. Seriously, wifi desktops suck as far as I'm concerned. I'll have to demand a landline get sent to my room because it's just awful. As a result, I can't do anything online like I want to. I'd love to OC or something with folk cus I'd think it'd be fun. But I'm not allowed that privilege. OC doesn't even work for me because of my Cintiq tablet. The cursor pops up about an inch away from where I'm pointing, so that's no good at all. I'll have to find an alternate way of doing it once I get online connections back.

Thats it from me internet dudes and duddets, in case any was wondering.

OCing and the Net

Well darn. My new Cintiq doesn't play nice with Open Canvas. Also, the internet in my apartment isn't working either! Or at least it only works seldomly. As much as I've wanted to OC with folks, things are just going against me right now so appologies all around.

OC is weird with my wacom product. It will draw a few inches away from where I'm touching the screen and that compleatly steals all the detail in anything I could do. If I can't at least see the cursor, then I'm S.O.L.

Internet in my house works, internet with my PS3 works, internet just plain works except on my computer. I'm using a Linksys wireless adapter for my computer and it can see our wireless network, and depending on its pissy mood it'll let me sign on or not. It's really quiet irritating if you ask me. Anyway, I hope to get these things resoloved eventually. Bah, what a pain.

Time for an update y'all

Good Morning Guy's and Gal's! I've got excellent news for both you and I.

Just this week have I gotten both the Cintiq [link] and Internet in my apartment! Now all I need is a splitter for my screens so I can draw on one and watch movies on the other. I've been a good boy and saving up my pennies for a whole two years to get this!!!! Good news for me because I got some very savvy toys to play with now and good news for all you out there because 1) I'm going to be drawing more and continuing my Shadow comic and 2) I'll be accepting commissions as well for some high quality work. All the commission info will be put up in another journal, perhaps next week or so. After I get more and more accustomed to my new toys I'll be setting up shop and everything.

Lets see, what else have I been up to? Well I've managed to watch all of Samurai Champloo and almost all of Outlaw Star while I was drawing and doodling so that was cool.
On SF4, I beat Guile's hard trial mode. And if you are not aware, hard trial mode is hard. Last thing you needed to do was combo a crouching low kick x2 into a crouching low punch, into his super and then combo it into his Ultra. The timing is unbelievable! After that, I got the title of Family Man and a slew of Guile icons to use as my avatar on SFIV. :mwahaha:
I'm just overall having fun with good times ahead. I look forward to whats next and I hope to really impress folk with my art in the days, months and years to come.

Hey Dudes and Dudets. Wanna know whats going on with me?
...
...
...
If you're still here, I'm taking that as a yes.

I've finally moved into my new apartment. Yeah, sure, everythings not in. Still don't have a sink or much of a kitchen. But what I do have makes it worth staying in there. Nice, HD TV, PS3, Games, Comics, Books, Computer, Couch, Mini frige stocked with Coke and Beer (The Beer's my dads, honest.) aaaaaaaaaaaand a toilet. So things are good! I've gotten a scanner as well so even more of a bonus! Down side? My computer isn't linked to the net and the tablit I've got is incompatable with the Vista OS I've got on my comp. But thats okay. In due time I'm going to be getting a Cintiq and thats when you'll see some more stuff from me. For right now I'm just busy with work and the comic. And SF4 doesn't help much now that I'm playing it in HD. bah, if only there were more hours in a day. Anyway, thats the jist of what I've been up to. Mostly doing art that I can't show yet. Perhaps I should start uploading comic pages from the two comics I already did... hummmmmmm. Perhaps this weekend.

Anyway, whats up with y'all?

RULES OF TAG

- Post these rules.

- Each tagged person must post 8 things about themselves on their journal.

- At the end you have to choose 8 people to tag, and post their icons on the same journal.

- Go to their page and send a message saying you tagged them.

- No tag-backs.

okay okay, lets see. What do I say?

1. I draw alot of stuff but I don't post even 1/4 of what I do.

2. Drawing comics is hard but I love seeing the finished product.

3. Sometime this year I'll start my own personal comic and or get a personal website.

4. I love talking to folk. I don't get things done because I have to respond to people. Thats why I try not to get on forms or anything like that or else I'll never get anything done.

5. I think girls are awesome.

6. I've got a doggie named Beowulf. He's a mutt. Actually, he's only half mutt half other mutt. Looks like a small Rottwiler mixed with a regular dog and he's medium in size.

7. I'm a reeeeeally big SF fan. Bigger than I thought would be possible. I don't even know why honestly.

8. I'm a nice guy by nature.

okay, thats me in a nutshell. I don't want to put anyone else on the spot, except you :iconkuri-hx: :iconphoenixking: :iconsinistar1: :iconbunnyzpopz: :iconshortpinay: , so there's no need to do it if you don't want to, except those who I listed of course.
